Position: Part Time Academic – Summer 2017

Department:  Engineering

Compensation: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

Work Assignment:   This Part Time Academic will teach APSC 1005 Metal Construction Technology in the Summer 2017 in the Truro location.  The Summer offering is scheduled for July 13^th to 21^st.   The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation.  The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements:  Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Metal Construction Technology including Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset; desirable attributes. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
