Special Call for Honorary Degree Nominations ‑ Dalhousie's Bicentennial 2018

In recognition of Dalhousie’s University’s 200th anniversary in 2018, the Senate Honorary Degrees Committee (SHDC) invites our community to give special consideration to honorary degrees to be awarded in 2018. These degrees may be awarded at our regular convocations or at signature events associated with the 200th anniversary milestone.

Dalhousie aims to recognize extraordinary individuals whose accomplishments and achievements will inspire our graduates, while reflecting the character and values of the University. To learn more about who is eligible for an honorary degree, click here.
 
To make a nomination, please complete the Honorary Degree Nomination Form in full. Questions can be directed to the University Secretariat at (902) 494-3715.
 
Completed nomination forms should be forwarded by May 5, 2017 to:

Please note that the annual call for Senate Honorary Degree Nominations will be sent out in June 2017 and will close in November 2017.
