National Journal Usage Project

Posted by Libraries on January 27, 2017 in General Announcements

Dalhousie Libraries is inviting all faculty, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows to participate in a national survey of 23 Canadian universities on electronic journal usage. The survey builds on the work of Dr. Vincent Larivière, Canada Research Chair on the Transformations of Scholarly Communication at the Université de Montréal.

The survey is being coordinated by the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), a national licensing consortium through which Dalhousie and 74 other Canadian universities purchase the majority of academic journal subscriptions. The survey, which asks you to identify the electronic journals you and your colleagues deem to be essential to your research and teaching activities, contains five questions and should take less than fifteen minutes to complete. To access the survey, click here The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, February 3, 2017.
