What are we looking at?
Temperament, Parenting, and Preschoolers' self-control
What will participants do?
Typically developing children will be asked to complete game-like tasks that measure memory and self-control. These games involve finding toy animals or matching pictures. A parent or guardian will also be asked to fill out several questionnaires assessing the child’s temperament and their own parental style.
Where will this take place?
The games / tasks will usually be completed at the child’s daycare or preschool (or at the IWK) and will take approximately 30 minutes.
