Position: Part-Time Academic
Department/Location: Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology
Pay Rate: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
Work Assignment:
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching the second half of SOSA 1100.06, Introduction to Anthropology, Mondays and Wednesdays 9:35-10:25 (Winter Term 2014/2015). The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, evaluation and electronic submission of grades. The instructor is required to be available up to two hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements of Position:
Applicants should possess a PhD in Anthropology, or have University level experience teaching and/or research directly in the subject area.
