POSITION: Teaching Assistant Fall: (September to December 2014)

CLASS, CLASS NAME, ASSIGNMENT (hours): KINE 1104 Foundations in Kinesiology, TA 110

DEPARTMENT: School of Health and Human Performance

PAY RATE: In accordance with Agreement between Dalhousie University and Canadian Union of Public Employees (http://humanresources.dal.ca/Files/CUPE_3912_Collective_Agreement.pdf).

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The teaching assistant will be responsible for duties which may include: preparation of teaching material, in-class duties (lab work, lectures, etc), marking, invigilation, office duties, and communication with students and supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Enrollment in a graduate program in relevant subject area; alternatively, a graduate of a Kinesiology program or enrollment in a relevant senior level undergraduate program. Previous instructional and marking experience would be an asset. Applicant must be available during scheduled laboratory times throughout the term.
