Posted by Human Resources on November 27, 2013 in Human Resources

Have you tried Skillsoft yet?

This fall, Human Resources, in partnership with ITS, announced the roll out a new series of online learning resources for employee skills improvement and professional development. The offerings are part of a new trial service agreement with Skillsoft, a company which offers access to a variety of online content (over 3,100 courses, videos, job aids, assessments, simulations, etc.) in three main collections:

· Business: management, leadership, HR, customer service, etc.
· IT: software development, server technologies, resource planning, etc.
· Desktop: MS Office, Internet skills, computing fundamentals, etc.

With this trial, we aim to enhance our ability to support employee performance and meet the rapidly changing and diverse learning needs of our employees. Skillsoft can provide our employees with easy access to a greater variety of content in a more flexible and cost-effective way.
