POSITION:  Teaching Assistant   September 2013-December 2013
                                                               
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  Bachelor of Management
 
PAY RATE:  $21.53 (approx. 45 hours)
                                                                                                                                                                               
WORK ASSIGNMENT:  The Teaching Assistant will assist with Mgmt 3907  New Venture Creation
 
Lectures are held Monday and Wednesday 8:30AM - 10:00AM. Duties include, but are not limited to:
 
1. Meeting with students for assistance
2. Assisting the Instructor when needed
3. Marking assignments and mid-terms and recording scores in BLS
 
You should have completed or be enrolled in a Masters program.  Preference will be given to those who have entrepreneurial experience or aspirations. The entrepreneurial experience and aspirations may include:
 
* Traditional venture start up
* For profit ventures
* Not for profit ventures
* Social entrepreneurship
* New initiatives in existing ventures
* New initiatives in the public sector
 
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:  Have a good academic track record.  Good interpersonal skills required to work with groups of students or for one-on-one interaction.  Given that this is a cross listed class with Dental Hygiene, an empathy for these two disciplines is expected. To be well organized.
