What new Dal students couldn't leave behind

It's a Nerf dart from our now-eldest cat, Loki. He has a very strange obsession with foam objects. He'll bite and eat them and get himself into digestive trouble. This is one I managed to yank away before he swallowed it. You can see the little tooth marks in it. 

My boyfriend made them for me about a year ago. He's a year younger than me, so he's still in Grade 12. He isn't here. I wanted to bring them because obviously I won't get actual flowers while he's not here. They're forever flowers.

My coach got it for me after we won provincials for sevens. He's always been around my high school program. He's a super awesome guy. He gave me a bunch of stuff over the years. This is a reminder of my rugby days from high school. I'm retired now, I guess.

At my school, we did chapel talks. Each person gets a day to go up in front of the whole school and talk about something meaningful to them. Everybody writes cards congratulating you and they pin them up on the wall. They remind me of all the people that I can't forget.

When I was five years old, I had these little Minecraft skeletons that I loved more than anything. He always sits on my desk at home. I was packing my stuff and realizing I was moving out. I looked at him and thought, 'Yeah, he should come. He's been a part of my life for a while.' 

I got this at a used bookstore. It was kind of a legendary find. It's one of my favourites. I've read it about ten times. It's a bit of a dark story. It's also queer, which is really cool. Those themes speak to me. The bookmark has sunflowers on it, which are a big metaphorical thing in the book.

I met a friend named Sierra during a summer job at a dinosaur-themed park near Edmonton. We had a whole bunch of insane adventures. She saw this at a fair and felt that it was representative of the kind of summer we had. We were just a couple cowboys and feeling pretty dead inside.

My grandfather always said that a woman needs their own tool box. So when he passed away, my aunt got me one. So far, we've used the mallet, the level, and my friend just used the screwdriver. 

I got them as Christmas gifts from my parents. They're players I like. I'm going to put them on the wall. I think it might help make connections. People who watch sports might see them and connect with me through that.

They're just random photos printed from my camera roll. It's to remember everyone in Toronto. A lot of people I don't really get to be in contact with anymore are still there and not in Halifax.

I've been boxing for a while. I didn't feel like buying something unless I was really into it. They're pretty expensive, so I wanted to make sure I was committed before I bought my own pair.
