This week was the last week of AUS action for the cross country and soccer teams with both groups away at AUS championships this weekend.
Women's Soccer
The women's soccer team finished first in the AUS after the regular season and earned a bye to the AUS semifinal on Friday. A hard-fought battle ended in penalty kicks were the Memorial Sea-Hawks eliminated the Tigers.

Men's Soccer
After wrapping up the regular season with a 8-2-2 record, the Tigers earned a bye to the AUS semifinal on Friday in Antigonish. Facing the host STFX team, the Tigers Jack Ellis scored the game-winning goal to send Dalhousie to the AUS final and with that, a birth into the U SPORTS Championship in Toronto next month. In the final on Sunday, the Tigers came back from two goals down to beat the Cape Breton Capers 3-2, and winning their first AUS title since 2008.

Cross Country
The cross country team was in Wolfville on Saturday to race the AUS championship. Happening in a beautiful apple orchard, the Tigers fought hard and both teams finished in third place. Molly Pert was named the female student-athlete community service award winner.

Hall of Fame
On Thursday the Tigers celebrated the 2025 class of the Dalhousie Sport Hall of Fame.
This week also marked the start of our court sports regular season. The basketball teams held a home and home with Acadia while the volleyball teams hosted Sherbrooke and Memorial.
Women's Basketball
The Tigers played two scrappy games versus the Axewomen this week and unfortunately came out on the losing side of both bouts.

Men's Basketball
The men's basketball team won their season opener versus Acadia on Wednesday, but then lost to the Axemen in Wolfville on Saturday.
Women's Volleyball
The Tigers hosted the Memorial Sea-Hawks in a two game series this weekend. The teams split the results with the Tigers winning on Friday and the Sea-Hawks winning on Saturday.

Men's Volleyball
The men's volleyball team lost both games to a new-look Sherbrooke Vert et Or this weekend. Both games were close with the Tigers winning the opening set before falling 3-1 in both games.

Swimming
The Tigers were split this weekend with most of the team in Sackville, NB to compete at the Mounties Invitational.
A selection of the team had qualified for the World Cup of Swimming held in Toronto, ON this past weekend. Emilie Schofield, Yannick Morgans, Alexia Morgans, Morgan Sparkes and Mia Stein-Blumberg all had fast times at a very fast weekend of swimming!
