This weekend’s Tigers action saw the women’s soccer team win at the historic Wanderers Grounds and Jacob Benoit remain undefeated in AUS invitational races this season.

Cross Country

The cross country team headed to Anigonish this weekend to race at the STFX Invitational. Jacob Benoit won his second race of the season, crossing the line over a minute ahead of the next finisher. Both the women’s and men’s teams finished second overall.

Women’s Soccer

The Tigers headed down to the historic Wanderers Grounds on Saturday to host STFX. The women’s team won with highlight reel goals from Paris Axam and Elise Evans.

The men’s team had a difficult weekend with early goals by the opposition proving to be a hill too big to climb.

The soccer teams return to action at Wickwire field on Saturday as a part of the Homecoming festivities. The football team kicks the day off with a 12:30pm game followed by the soccer teams at 5:30pm and 7:45pm.
