Tigers Weekend Recap (Mar. 11)

The Tigers were participating in three U SPORTS championships this past weekend.

The track and field head ventured west to Winnipeg to compete at the U SPORTS championship hosted by the University of Manitoba. Zach James was the top Tiger, bringing home a silver medal in the men’s 600m.

The men’s basketball team headed to Laval to play in the Final 8 tournament. After winning their opening game, the Tigers fell to the hosts and eventual U SPORTS champions, the Rouge et Or.

Christie leads Tigers to fourth place finish

McGill hosted the U SPORTS swimming championship this weekend. The Tigers showed well, finishing in 11th and 12th in the overall team standings.

Tigers finish in 11th and 12th at U SPORTS

The final weekend of Tigers action is this weekend as the curling teams head to Fredericton to compete for U SPORTS titles.
