A banner weekend: Dal Tigers collect five AUS titles

The Tigers brought home five AUS titles this weekend. The men’s and women’s track & field and swimming teams successfully defended their titles while the men’s basketball team re-captured the AUS title.

Men’s Basketball

Malcolm Christie picked up more awards this weekend, winning the championship MVP award after leading the Tigers to capturing the championship.

Swimming

Reagan Crowell was named the Swimmer of the Year and Swimmer of the Meet on the way to the women’s team winning their 22nd straight title. Noah Mascoll-Gomes won the Community Service Award for his work with local elementary school students to teach them to swim.

Track & Field

The women’s track and field team won a historic 35th straight AUS conference title. Several Tigers also brought home major AUS awards during the meet.

Women’s Volleyball

The women’s volleyball team avoided elimination in their AUS semifinal series versus SMU on Saturday. They play the third and deciding game on Monday at Saint Mary’s.
