Dalhousie University presents our PepsiCo Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Temi Toba-Oluboka, Track & Field

Fifth-year thrower Temi Toba-Oluboka is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Temi helped lead the Tigers to a 14th place finish at the 2023 U SPORTS Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of Saskatchewan over the weekend.

She threw a personal-best distance of 16.89 metres to earn a fourth-place finish in the women’s weight throw.

A Master of Psychiatry student, Temi is from Calgary, Alta.

Aidan Goslett, Track & Field

Third-year middle distance runner Aidan Goslett is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Aidan had a medal-winning performance to help the Tigers to an 11th place finish at the 2023 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan over the weekend.

He earned a silver medal in the men’s 1000m after crossing the line with a time of 2:24.83, just .24 seconds behind the first-place finisher.

The next day, he ran to a fourth-place finish in the men’s 1500m race with a time of 3:51.48.

Aidan also anchored the 4x800m relay team to a fifth-place finish.

A native of Toronto, Ont., Aidan is a commerce student.
