Lucy Glen-Carter, Volleyball
Fourth-year outside hitter Lucy Glen -Carter is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Lucy led the Tigers to their 10th consecutive AUS women’s volleyball championship title over the weekend.
The 2022-23 AUS MVP had a match-high 25 kills and 16 digs in the Tigers 2-3 loss to the Acadia Axewomen on Thursday night in the opening match of the 2023 Subway AUS Women’s Volleyball Championship presented by Bell. She was named the Subway Player of the Game for Dalhousie for her efforts.
She added another match-high 27 kills and 18 digs to lead the Tigers to a 3-2 win over the Axewomen to tie the best of three series at one apiece.
The next day, Lucy had another match-high 19 kills, plus 16 digs to earn Subway Player of the Game and Championship MVP honours in the Tigers 3-2 defeat of Acadia to claim the championship title.
A Master of Physiotherapy student, Lucy is from Toronto, Ont.
