Dalhousie University presents our PepsiCo Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Alessandra Nadalini, Volleyball

Second-year libero Alessandra Nadalini is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Alessandra recorded 68 digs to help lead the Tigers to a three-match sweep at the AUS League Tournament hosted by Memorial this past weekend.

She had 18 digs in the Tigers 3-1 win over the Moncton Aigles Bleues Friday night and followed it up with a 27-dig performance the next day in their 3-2 defeat of the Acadia Axewomen. Alessandra also had five assists in the match.

In Sunday’s 3-1 win over the UNB REDS, she added another 23 digs to her weekend tally.

Alessandra was also impressive on serve receive all weekend in addition to her defensive play.

A kinesiology student, Alessandra is from Bedford, N.S.

Lucas Condon-Oldreive, Volleyball

First-year middle blocker Lucas Condon-Oldreive is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Lucas led the Tigers to a weekend sweep of the UNB REDS in Fredericton this past weekend.

He boasted an 85% kill percentage in the Tigers 3-1-win Friday night with 11 kills and added four blocks and two digs for 13.0 total points.

Lucas was in great form again on Saturday with 12 kills, five blocks and three digs for 17.0 points in the Tigers 3-0 defeat of the REDS.

He is currently ranked third in both attack efficiency and blocks per set in the RSEQ.

A native of Halifax, N.S, Lucas is an engineering student.
