PepsiCo Athletes of the Week (week ending Feb. 20)

Isabella Noble, Volleyball

First-year setter Isabella Noble is this week’s Female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Isabella led the Tigers to a 3-0 win over the visiting Acadia Axewomen Saturday afternoon in Halifax.

She recorded 22 assists, six digs and one kill in the match and was named the Subway Player of the Game.

A kinesiology major, Isabella is from Chester, N.S.

Alex Carson, Basketball

Fifth-year guard Alex Carson is this week’s Male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.

Alex had 23 points, five rebounds and two assists in the Tigers 86-60 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies Saturday night in Halifax.

The Subway Player of the Game shot 70% from the field and went four for five from beyond the arc.

A native of Lower Sackville, N.S., Alex is a recreation management student.
