Women's soccer players earn national recognition

Women's soccer players Riley Donovan and Megan Chaisson have earned national honours during the 2021 season.

Dalhousie Tigers midfielder, Megan Chiasson of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia has been named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie Team. The 2021 AUS Rookie of the Year, Chiasson played in 12 regular-season games for the Tigers this season, getting the start in 11 of them.

A first-year science student, Chiasson scored a goal this season.

Third-year midfielder Riley Donovan has been selected as a u SPORTS second team All-Canadian. An AUS first team all-star for the first time in her career, she led all Tigers in scoring with eight, ranking her second in the conference during regular season play.

A psychology and creative writing double major, Donovan started in all 12 games regular season games this year and finished with nine total points.
