Passersby at the Halifax Public Gardens are getting a colourful floral reminder of the university’s 200th anniversary this year.

The new Dal 200 flower bed is now complete at the Public Gardens, showcasing the Dal 200 logo.

And it’s not the only sign of celebration you can find out in the community. The Halifax-Dartmouth MacKay Bridge’s rock garden is also sporting Dalhousie colours, with a variant of the shield logo on display.

Meanwhile, in Truro, the Ag Campus’s Alumni Gardens is also getting in the Dal 200 spirit with a carpet bed display of its own.

Thanks to HRM and the Faculty of Agriculture for their work supporting these installations. All three will run into the fall.
