New beginnings on move‑in day

- September 5, 2017

Dalhousie's newest students arrived at residences in Halifax and Truro over the weekend, ready to register, move in and begin an exciting new chapter in their lives.

Dozens of varsity athletes, residence staff, student leaders, and other volunteers, including Dal President Richard Florizone, turned out Saturday to help cart pillows, suticases and sundry other items in an impressive show of community spirit.

Many students were accompanied by their parents, some of whom had driven across hundreds of kilometres of highway and through several provinces to get here.

With cars unpacked and rooms filled up, it was finally time to say goodbye and let the new adventures begin.
