Crowds on both the Trojans (Howe Hall, Gerard Hall and Mini Residence Houses) and the Bighorns (Risley Hall, LeMerchant Place and Shirreff Hall) sides cheered vigorously for their hockey team in the 11th Annual Residence Charity Face-Off. Fans, dressed in red for the Bighorns and orange for the Trojans, helped support the IWK Foundation by buying tickets and attending fundraisers throughout the semester.
The cheers drowned out the music playing in the Halifax Forum. A tight game ended with the Bighorns winning 4-2. To end the evening, the captains of each team presented a representative from the IWK Foundation with a cheque for $14,500.
