Athletes of the Week (ending Mar. 10)

Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 10, 2013.

Rebecca Haworth, Track and Field

Third-year high jumper Rebecca Haworth recorded a 1.70m leap to place fourth at the CIS championships this past weekend. The Waverley, N.S. repeated her AUS championship performance in her third nationals appearance. This year’s AUS and CIS Student-Athlete Community Service Award winner, Haworth is enrolled in Dalhousie’s Psychology program.

Rob McCulloch, Track and Field

Fifth-year pentathlete Rob McCulloch earned a bronze medal at the CIS championships this past weekend. The bronze medalist in the same event last year, McCulloch also placed sixth in the men’s high jump event. The Glammis, O.N. native was also a member of the men’s volleyball team this season. McCulloch is enrolled in Dalhousie’s Science program.
