Please be advised that the Life Sciences Centre (LSC) is closed until further notice due to a fire in the upper level of the Biology Tower.
Nobody was injured -- the fire was quickly contained. The cause is unknown and continues to be under investigation. The fire began at about 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.
Water damage throughout the Biology Tower and fire damage to the roof will need to be assessed. Air quality levels are being examined.
