Twenty-two teams from high schools throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island gathered at Dalhousie earlier this month for Reach for Dalhousie, a game show-style competition based on the old Reach for the Top. After almost winning the competition twice before, the team from Kennebecasis Valley High School in New Brunswick were runners up no more. Team members Jesse Lenton, Nick Manuel, Alexander Maxan and Stephen Spence won scholarships covering first-year tuition to Dalhousie. But members of the second place Cobequid Education Centre also did well; team members Janis Nams, Megan Geddes, Peter Rau and Amy MacLean were awarded $3,000 scholarships.
