Ten years on the job

Personnel Services recognizes Bruce Fowler

by June Cleary

Fowler
Bruce Fowler receives 10 years' service certificate.
Bruce Fowler was honoured by Personnel Services for ten years of dedicated service to their department and to the university.

Since 1994, Bruce Fowler has spent his Wednesdayís working out of Personnel Services. He has been and continues to be involved in a wide variety of activities, everything from paper shredding to workshop mailouts, mail delivery and various other jobs. And all of this is done in his usual pleasant and dedicated manner. Before Dalhousie News went to the web, Bruce worked with Communications and Marketing to distribute the newspaper to the external community. In addition to his work here at Dalhousie, Bruce also works 3 days a week at the N.S. Rehabilitation Centre working in the cafeteria making coffee and at the cash register. In his spare time, Bruce enjoys hockey and is an enthusiastic Montreal Canadiens fan who is looking forward to the resumption of the NHL games.

Bruce comes to Dalhousie through New Leaf Enterprises, which is a program of the Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia. He started with New Leaf in 1975 at the age of 17 and even with almost 30 years on the job, Bruce Fowler is still eager for new things to do.
