Social Anthropology PhD Candidate Gerald Gloade who is also Consultation Manager to Millbrook First Nation, developed the Kwe' Meal Kit featuring deer meat harvested by Mi’kmaq hunters. Kits also included a variety of vegetables and other grocery staples. The kits, part of innovations in local food security, also featured three recipes created in partnership with renowned Cree chef Ray Bear and were featured on CBC and and City News.
