Dal-AC has had Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences for select students in the past, but has been limited to International Food Business, Diploma in Veterinary Technology, or Diploma in Business Management - Agriculture students.  This past summer, AGRI – 2001, a credit based internship course was opened up to all students on the AC campus who wanted to incorporate WIL into their degree.

In addition to the internship option being extended to all students on campus, the initial COOP program, when approved, is targeted to begin with Plant Science in Fall - 2018, with students participating in their first work term, Summer - 2019.

As there are many facets to WIL, including but not limited to internships, externships, applied research projects, cooperative education and service learning, AggieWIL is open to growing and incorporating a variety of opportunities for students and as studies have shown, ultimately providing them an edge over their peers when they graduate.
