Global Reach 2021:

Solving Agricultural Problems Through Research and Innovation

Dalhousie University and partnering universities FAFU, MMSU, TNAU, RVSKVV and UASB, held another successful Global Reach: Solving Agricultural Problems Through Research and Innovation virtual symposium on 21-22 July 2021! This global team symposium offered opportunities for graduate students to present their research on solving agricultural problems.

Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture was pleased to welcome graduate student researchers to participate in our virtual symposium “Global Reach 2021: Solving Agricultural Problems Through Research and Innovation”.  This event brought together our international partner universities from China, Philippines, and India in a knowledge-sharing event to explore innovative research solutions to agricultural problems.

Participants presented their research to an audience of faculty, staff and fellow presenters from the 6 partner universities and 3 guest institutes. The oral presentation was limited to 8 minutes, delivered in a style of participants' preference, and followed by an opportunity for questions and comments from session participants.

The objective of the symposium was to let the participants share how their completed or ongoing research could provide solutions to agricultural challenges being faced around the world.
