Coming to Canada

Depending on your country of origin, you may need a valid passport or visa requirements.

All attendees coming to Canada from another country are urged to determine what their travel requirements will be to enter the country.  The two common requirements are an Electronic Travel Authorization (which costs $7 CAD) or a visitor visa (which costs $100 CAD). If you are a citizen of China, Argentina, Russia or Peru you may need a visitor visa.  Please refer to  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp for more information. See below for more information.

Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorization or a visa to travel to Canada.

Attendance at a conference such as XIII International Vaccinium Symposium, 2024 is considered to be a cross-border business activity and therefore you will be considered a business visitor.

In order to apply for an official invitation letter to apply for a VISA, first you have to be registered and have booked accommodation.​ Then, we will send you an official invitation letter to apply for VISA.
