Registration is required to attend the in-person/on-site scientific sessions, lunches and coffee-breaks.
The Symposium will be held at two locations in Atlantic Canada. The meeting will commence at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and will conclude at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island).
For those attending “in-person,” registration fees include lunch and coffee-breaks on symposium days. ISHS, non-ISHS and Student fees also include the welcome reception.
Please note that participation in the in-person/on-site, preconference tour to the Annapolis Valley and banquet on the beach dinner functions is not included in the registration fee and requires the additional purchase of tickets.
The virtual component of the International Vaccinium Symposium will be dependent upon adequate participation to justify the cost of the virtual conference system.
The registration and abstract submission are 2 separate processes. The deadline to submit new abstracts is December 15, 2023. The deadline to make changes to existing abstracts is January 26, 2024, and the early registration deadline is April 19, 2024.
Abstract submission can occur prior to registration and tentative notification regarding the acceptance of an oral or poster contribution will be provided. However, registration is required for the formal acceptance of an abstract, and to also attend and participate in the symposium.
Registration fees include an electronic copy of the Acta Horticulturae symposium proceedings.
