On Tuesday, September 6, the Honourable Scott Brison announced $94 million in funding from the federal government's Canada First Research Excellence Fund to support the creation of the Dal-led Ocean Frontier Institute. Add to that $125M from various partners and you get an unprecedented investment in Canadian ocean research.
