Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 30, 2012.

Maggie Li, Volleyball

Second-year outside hitter Maggie Li’s exceptional play last weekend contributed to Dal’s four straight victories in the Scotiabank Invitational tournament. She led the Tigers in kills and blocks and was recognized as the tournament MVP. Maggie is enrolled in Dalhousie’s commerce program and hails from Beijing, China.

Nathan Rogers, Soccer

With outstanding effort on the field this past Saturday, Nathan Rogers led the Tigers in their battle against AUS first-place Acadia. He kept his team in the game with a penalty shot goal, but Dalhousie fell short 3-2. Originally from Calgary, AB, Nathan is a fourth-year commerce student.
