For the second year in a row, theatre department chair Roberta Barker claims “best professor” honors in The Coast’s Best of Halifax issue. The weekly newspaper notes she “teaches three excellent-sounding courses.”
Also recognized in the Best of Halifax issue were:
- Dal grad Mark Little as best comedian.
- Dal acting instructor Sue LeBlanc-Crawford as best theatre actor.
- Dal law prof Howard Epstein as best politico waiting in the wings.
- Dal grad Megan Leslie as best Halifax Member of Parliament.
The T-Room, a hang-out for engineering students on Sexton campus, was deemed to put on the best trivia night.

T-Room placed 2nd, and Grawood 3rd behind SMU's Gorsebrook.
Next year, watch out Gorsebrook. The T-Room has only just begun to peak.
