Growing up in North River, Nova Scotia and never far from the ocean, Victoria Maxwell has always had a passion for the ocean. She wasn’t always sure which career path she would take but she did know it would somehow involve the ocean.

The Department of Plant and Animal Sciences welcomes Dr. Lord Abbey to the Department and the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus as the new Assistant Professor, Amenity Horticulture.

Chilly weather and rainy conditions couldn’t keep the smiles off Central Colchester Junior High’s (CCJHS) Grade 8 students. Busing in from Onslow, the students were the last school to take part in Dalhousie University, Faculty of Agriculture’s three-day Amazing AgZone Race.
