We’re excited to share some updates on improvements to in-person services designed to enhance the student experience. Alongside our ongoing investments in self-service tools, these changes are part of our commitment to providing seamless and accessible support.
We’re pleased to announce the launch of a pilot Integrated Student Service Centre at the LeMarchant Place Welcome Centre (1246 LeMarchant Street, 1st floor). This central location will co-locate in-person services from the Registrar’s Office and Student Accounts, alongside existing services for admissions, recruitment, and campus tours.
Key services offered at the LeMarchant Place Welcome Centre include:
- Campus tours
- Student recruitment services
- Admission advising
- Registration assistance (adding/dropping courses)
- Support for accessing digital transcripts and credentials via MyCreds
- Guidance on Letters of Permission for external coursework
- Support for Canadian and U.S. student loans
- Tuition and fee payment assistance (cash payments are no longer accepted)
Students can also access these services via phone and online chat at dal.ca/registrar
Important Update:
As more students access our services online, the Sexton Service Centre (located in B Building) will permanently close on January 21. To meet student needs during peak times, we will offer pop-up services on the Sexton Campus at strategic moments throughout the year. All Registrar’s Office and Student Accounts services previously offered at Sexton can now be accessed online or at the LeMarchant Place centre.
Additional Information:
Registrar’s Office and Student Accounts staff responsible for back-end operations will continue to work from the Henry Hicks Building. During this transition, a triage desk will also be available at the Henry Hicks to assist individuals who may visit this location.
We appreciate your collaboration in this transition, which promises to better serve our students and streamline their experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Registrar’s Office & Financial Services Teams
