2022-23 Part-Time Academic (Chem 1011/1021) Concepts in Chemistry I - 1 Lab Assistant

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities The Lab Assistant is primarily responsible for providing support for the lab component of the class including instruction to undergraduate students, supervising Teaching Assistant group, supervising undergraduate students, managing lab reports and assignments, and tutorial support. The Instructor may also assist with lecture support in LON-CAPA as required. This position reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Science through the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position A minimum of a MSc in Chemistry; previous teaching experience in 1st-year chemistry at University level is a definite asset.
