About the opportunity |
Dalhousie is hiring a probationary tenure-track or tenure-track clinical scientist in periodontics with specialist expertise in periodontics to (i) build a research program focused on dental biomaterials and (ii) the clinical evaluation of new dental biomaterials and technologies. Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD and a master’s degree in periodontics or equivalent and be eligible for licensure by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. The candidate must also hold a PhD and be able to demonstrate expertise in dental biomaterials science. If the candidate has not successfully completed their National Dental Specialty Exam (NDSE) in Periodontics administered in Canada, they must successfully do so within 12 months of the start of the position.
