Thanks to all the faculty, staff and students who have submitted photos of their furry friends getting into the holiday spirit.
Want to join in? You can find details at the bottom of this post on how to sumit your own photos.
We'll have new pets to showcase each day this week, with a vote on Best Dressed Pet next Monday.
Stewart Bun-bun Fuzzybutt*
*Stew to his friends, Mr. Fuzzybutt on formal occasions.
What: A 10-month old lionhead rabbit who enjoys a good chew and long afternoon naps. Stew has grown up with an at home office, and loves to join video meetings to ensure everyone is in high spirits (or just loves to steal all the attention).
Lives with: Tanya Matheson, an evaluation specialist for Admissions and Student Affairs in the Faculty of Medicine.
Ideal gift: This holiday season, Stew wants every bunny to be safe and warm. He also really wants to get his teeth on the giant chew stick called Christmas tree.
Nacho
What: A 12-year-old mystery mix from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, adopted through Litters ‘n Critters animal rescue.
Lives with: Ann MacDonald, associate director of admissions in the Registrar's Office (Student Affairs).
Ideal gift: Meat and fresh snow or a bit of whatever you’re having.
Gracie
What: Short-haired Tabby cat.
Lives with: Brenna MacNeil, a graphic designer with Communications, Marketing & Creative Services.
Ideal gift: This is Gracie’s second Christmas. She has her eye on the bell and tiny mitten decorations hanging from the Christmas tree and Friskies Party Mix, of course.
Jack
What: Husky Mix.
Lives with: Carrie Flood, associate director of donor relations in the Office of Advancement.
Ideal gift: Being a recipient of a few dropped pieces of the Christmas Day turkey.
