Pets of Dalhousie: Meet Lewi

Posted by Communications, Marketing and Creative Services on June 22, 2021 in Community Highlights

Get to know, Lewi, a pup who lives with Krystal Caldwell, an institutional analyst in Dalhousie Analytics.

Name: Lewi or LewLew (pronounced Louis and LuLu). We had her "pick" her name by laying the alphabet on the ground and having her run across it. We took whatever letters she touched with her paws and unscrambled them to make the name 'Lewi'.

Species/breed: German Shorthaired Pointer

Age: 2.5 years

Fave food: She will eat anything with enthusiasm, but staple favourites are cheese and popcorn.

Special tricks: It's hard to pick just one — she really loves any kind of activity or training. A few things we've done with her include agility, obedience rally, and nosework. One of our favourite tricks is having her jump into our arms.

Best quality: Her focus and eagerness to learn. She's also an A+ cuddler.
