• Student Computer Lab Access – Due to Covid-19, access to computers in the labs, at least until January 2021, will be done virtually.  Visit Software Access Information in myDal for more information.
• myDal is Dalhousie's intranet. Everything a user needs in one convenient location. It provides access to Microsoft 365 services (e.g. email, calendar, OneDrive, etc.), news, events, quick links to common services (e.g. Brightspace, DalOnline, Banner, Famis, Campus Bookings) and much more.  Visit myDal (NetID and password required).
• Know and understand Dalhousie's Acceptable Use Policy. Students and employees need to be aware of what is appropriate and inappropriate use of university network and computing resources.
• Reminder about our  Information Security Classification Standards  [PDF] and Electronic Information Storage Guidelines.  Managing and protecting University Information is everyone's responsibility.  Need assistance with this?  Faculty and Staff can login to myDal to find out more and to review and/or download these documents.
• For Information Security best practices, login to myDal.  Be savvier online, don't be phished.  
• Learn more about Wireless Access on campus or at other affiliated institutions through eduroam.
• Microsoft 365 provided free for current students, faculty, and staff.  Find out how to use and access Microsoft 365, by logging to myDal.
• DalSafe – Your source for campus alerts and more.  Sign up for text alerts in the event of campus closures, hazards, and other significant events.
• Faculty and Staff, do you need a new computer?  We encourage you to purchase or lease ITS standard desktops/laptops, which come with ongoing service and support for the life of your computer.  Login to myDal for information on Dalhousie Computer Purchases (DCP).
• Working Remotely – Log in to myDal to find employee information and tips.
