Dental Hygiene Career Stream Instructor Position

The School of Dental Hygiene, Faculty of Dentistry, Dalhousie University, is seeking applications for one career-stream dental hygiene educator position at the rank of Instructor or Senior Instructor and at an FTE of 1.0, 12 months per year, commencing July 1, 2018.

Responsibilities will include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching in all aspects of the School of Dental Hygiene programs, and those aspects integrated with the Dentistry programs, and associated administrative duties.

Applicants must be eligible for licensure as a registered dental hygienist in Nova Scotia and hold a Master’s degree.

Candidates are expected to have a minimum of two years experience in curriculum and course development and curriculum administration.  Experience as a clinical coordinator is an asset. The successful candidate must also have had experience in a clinical periodontal practice. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, and experience.
