Are you an active listener?

In active listening you need to demonstrate that you are in fact listening and ensure you understand what the other person is communicating.

This 34 minute video course will help you with the following workplace behaviours which are defined under the Dalhousie Core Competency of Communication:

·         Listening effectively

·         Asking relevant questions to clarify needs and deepen understanding

·         Being conscious of and responsive to non-verbal communication cues
