POSITION: Demonstrator/Marker – 70 hours
PAY RATE: as per CUPE agreement, hourly rate
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Biology / SEASIDE
PERIOD OF WORK: May 29‐June 16, 2017

WORK ASSIGNMENT: Assist the instructor (Dr. Diego Ibarra) with the summer class MARI 3604.03, Field Aquaculture. Duties: mark quizzes and laboratory reports; upload grades to Brightspace; and drive students in a rented van on field trips.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Background in marine biology with experience in aquaculture, fisheries, fish & shellfish biology; preference
will be given to candidates with previous experience as a TA, Marker or Demonstrator and previous experience with Brightspace. Must have a driver’s license valid in Nova Scotia, experience driving, and a good driving
record.
