POSITION: Part-time Academic

DEPARTMENT:  Classics

PAY RATE: as per CUPE contract

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  Part-time academic required to teach CLAS 3413.03 / RELS 3413.03 / CLAS 5070.03 (winter term), Augustine’s Confessions, W 1905-2155 (January – April, 2018) and be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class.  This position is supervised by the Chair, Department of Classics.

REQUIREMENTS:  Ph.D.  Candidates must have experience teaching ancient philosophy at the senior university level.

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  Part-time academic required to teach CLAS 2281.03 /RELS 2281.03 (winter term), Christian Beginnings:  The Orthodox and Oriental Churches, MW 0830-0955 (January – April, 2018) and be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class. This position is supervised by the Chair, Department of Classics.

REQUIREMENTS:  Ph.D. in Classics or Religious or Byzantine studies.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the university level.
