Athletes of the Week (ending Sept. 15)

Kristy McGregor-Bales, Soccer

Third-year defender Kristy McGregor-Bales led the Tigers in back-to-back wins this past weekend. She was named the Subway Player of the Game keeping the Saint Mary’s offense at bay in the Tigers 5-0 win on Saturday. On Sunday, Kristy notched the Tigers lone goal in a 1-0 defeat of the Mount Allison Mounties, again earning her Subway Player of the Game honours.

A recreation management student, Kristy hails from Ottawa, ON.

Kristy was named the AUS Subway Female Athlete of the Week!

Tristan Leopold, Soccer

First-year keeper Tristan Leopold got a win in his first ever game with the Tigers. Tristan faced 10 shots and nine corner kicks and made a game –winning save in the final two minutes in Sunday’s 2-1 win over the Mount Allison Mounties.

Tristan is from Bedford, NS and is an engineering student.
