Athletes of the Week (Ending Dec. 2)

Keisha Brown, Basketball

Basketball guard Keisha Brown led her team to a huge 76-73 victory over UPEI last Saturday afternoon. Originally from Halifax, NS, Brown contributed 34 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals to the win, which puts Dalhousie in a tie for second place. Brown currently leads the Tigers with 119 points so far this season and is an arts student.

Jacob Johnston, Hockey

Hockey defenseman Jacob Johnston provided outstanding leadership over the weekend with a consistent performance on the ice. Johnston scored the first goal versus UNB and the tying goal against the Panthers, helping Dal earn a 3-2 victory over UPEI and close the gap in the standings. The Sudbury, ON native is ranked fifth out of all AUS defensemen and is in his fourth year studying commerce.
