No bah, humbug here

Hosted by Dalhousie President Tom Traves, the carol sing is a holiday tradition at Dalhousie.

The folks in our office always look forward to the annual Dalhousie Carol Sing in the Dal Arts Centre. It's nice to come together and sing all the old favourites -- Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls and Away in a Manger. Conductor Gary Ewer adds to the fun with his banter and everyone is in good cheer. There's a nice lunch served too.

We hear so much about holiday stress that we sometimes forget what the festive season is really about—gatherings like the carol sing that make us pause in the midst of the hustle and bustle and just enjoy each other's company.

How do you get in the holiday spirit? Is there a certain TV special that triggers it? Maybe it's as simple as walking out of Dalplex after that last exam that finally allows you to relax.

Spread the joy by joining in our Dal News discussion.
