Ben Ur, soccer
Ben Ur posted his third shut-out of the season in as many games after a 4-0 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies on Sunday. A third-year goalkeeper with the Tigers men’s soccer team, he has played 270 minutes without allowing a goal. Mr. Ur is a third-year arts student from Halifax, N.S. The Tigers are currently in fourth place in AUS standings after four games with three wins and one tie. They are also ranked fourth in CIS standings.
Jeanette Huck, soccer
Tigers co-captain Jeanette Huck guided the women’s soccer team to victory this past Sunday. An AUS first team all-star and a CIS All-Canadian in 2008-09, she scored the Tigers' second goal on their way to a 2-0 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies. Ms. Huck is a fourth-year commerce student from Halifax, N.S. The Tigers are currently in fourth place in AUS standings after four games with two wins and two ties.
