Fostering a 'smarter planet'

- April 13, 2009

What will it take to build a smarter planet?

That’s the question that IBM is posing to Dalhousie students and faculty as part of the company’s Smarter Planet University Jam. The “Jam” is an online collaboration and conversation taking place over 72-hours from April 21-23. The topic at hand: how technology and business can help build a smarter planet in areas such as cities, carbon and water management, health care, education and more. Contributing to the digital conversation will be faculty and students from over 170 universities and collages around the world, along with IBM business leaders and technologists and industry partners.
