Students who live in Dalhousie's residences emptied their pockets of spare change so kids from the Halifax area can have cool gifts under the tree this Christmas. Between four residences—Howe, Shirreff, Risley and Gerard—more than $3,000 was raised in just a week and then organizers went on a shopping spree to Woozles in downtown Halifax. The toys have been donated to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Halifax and Aramark's Christmas family.
